Wilsonart debuted it’s Wilsonart Quartz Collection at the recent Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), after originally only posting a short amount of information teasing the new product on its website last month. According to a release from the company, the line-up will include 50 colors. The inaugural quartz patterns are inspired by locations and cultures from as far away as the Gobi desert to the Midwest skies of the United States and native peoples of the Americas, Australia and Southeast Asia, reports the company. They have broken down their quartz designs into four simple categories based on structure: Fine and Small Scale, Medium Scale, Large Scale and Veining and Movement. By late spring 2015, the full selection of patterns will be available and showcase a full range of colors and textures.

“Bringing our own quartz line to the market furthers our ability to provide customers with a full spectrum of decorative surface options for any project they may embark upon,” said Alison DeMartino, the company’s director of marketing communications. “As both our residential and commercial customers have discovered, quartz can fulfill a number of roles for both its aesthetics and performance.”

The Fine & Small Scale Structures Collection offers clean, low contrast, such as subtle concrete with touches of sparkle, soapstone with a dappled appearance and small aggregate looks. The collection includes: Serene, Niwa, Gobi, Amalfi Coast, Key West, Alamosa, Lorraine and Chillkat.

Medium Scale Structures Collection offers color variation in most of the designs, but that will not overwhelm your space. The collection includes: Lyra, Majestic, Aurora, Sans Souci and Viaggo.

Large Scale Structures collection create bold interpretations in design. From terrazzo looks to subtle movement this collection offers increased style for distinctive spaces and includes: Skye Cliff, Osteria, Kabi, Vittorio, Rio Upano, Galileo and Nakasendo.

The final collection, Veining and Movement are dramatic and inspired by classic white marbles, Turkish red marbles or an haute couture look of tortoise shell. This collection includes Badaling, Colza, Araku, Mehndi, Adena, Xcaret, Duomo, Haida, Kolams, Arashi, Sangda Falls, Isselburg, Murren, Las Medualas, Arno, Gaudi, Anatolia (pictured here), Jules, Santiago and Via Augusta.

The new product line will be delivered through Wilsonart’s exclusive distribution network. Wilsonart Quartz joins the family of engineered surface options led by the company’s laminate and solid surface products. Wilsonart Quartz meets all industry standards including UL GREENGUARD Gold for Indoor Air Quality and NSF International Seal for Safe Surfaces for Food Preparation.
