Vermont Quarries Corp. is known world-wide for the beautiful Vermont Danby Marble extracted and quarried from the largest underground marble quarry in the world.
Hundreds of feet underground, deep inside the same quarry walls the marble was extracted from, there is a sophisticated marble factory that includes two Gang Saws, a Monowire to cut thick slabs and cubic pieces, a resin line, a fully automated polishing line and a top of the line Prussiani cut to size machine.
From this historical quarry, the company manufactures slabs, pavers and cut to size marble for special projects. Danby marble is offered in 14 different selections with varying veining color and consistency.
