Although there has not been any official press releases from the company, Wilsonart is apparently in the process of launching its own line of quartz surfacing under the moniker Wilsonart Quartz. According to the company’s website, the product will initially be available in 21 colors, ranging from dark speckled and veined black tones to more traditional browns and grays to more unique patterns and whites and marble-like colors. Also, the engineered stone will apparently be available in both 2cm and 3cm thicknesses.
The product complements the company’s line of laminate, for which it is most well known, and its solid surface material.
Although few details are currently available, it is likely that fabricators, designers and others the countertop industry will get their first look at the product at the upcoming Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas in January. More details will be shared as they become available.
