Vitap S.p.A. and Atlantic Machinery Corporation have released information on a new semi-automatic entry-level contour edgebander called the Stellar. 
Stellar offers a new solution to edgeband large or small contoured parts, whether concave or convex. Stellar is set apart from other entry-level edgebanders with its movable support arm. This adjustable swivel arm is equipped with a vacuum pod that holds the panel in place, allowing for large panels to be edgebanded. According to the company an operator will no longer need to struggle with large panel pieces to hold them in place.
The Stellar will be introduced at the AWFS Fair in Las Vegas, held July 19-22, 2017.
