Stone Peak offers a unique series of porcelain tiles dubbed ‘Plane’ that come in four sizes up to 5- by 10-ft. Available in nine colors, the tiles are engineered porcelain that are flexible, crack-resistant, mold-resistant, heat- and frost-proof, and have no artificial binders or VOC emissions. The material is suitable for interiors, exteriors, countertops and veneers. Test results from the Tile Council of North America rated the scratch results an equivalent to a “7” on the mohs scale of hardness, equal to that of natural quartz. The tiles are 6mm-thick, require no sealing, are available in honed or polished finishes and can be installed over existing countertops.
