Regent Stone Offers Quartz Polishing System

regent stone Quartz_Renew 2Regent Stone offers the Quartz Renew polishing system, which includes three types of polish. The three-step process was designed to blend the “snake skin” appearance of the surface and remove residual hazing after having successfully removed damage with diamond polishing. It can also be used individually for specific repairs, such as removing light hazing from chemical burning, hard water spotting or even sealers that have been applied to quartz. Final Polish can be used for overall surface cleaning and removing minor surface blemishes. The polishes also remove light staining and hazing on softer marbles and engineered marble products. The standard kit includes  8-oz. bottles of Snake Sink Revealer, Resin Polish and Final Polish. A larger kit includes the bottles of polish as well as a variety of pads.

Here is a link to a video from Regent stone that shows how it works … Think it’s great for residential repairs but not in a factory, 90 minutes to remove a scratch is too much time. I would make a new piece in the same time and use the good part of the damaged one for another project. My 5 cents of advice, with a foam cleaner like the one from Interflon you can save a lot of time in-between the steps. Here is a link to a video about Interflon.
