The Marble Institute of America (MIA) released an updated version of its consumer-oriented showroom video – “From the Quarry to the Kitchen.” The video tells the story of natural stone, how it emerges from quarries around the world and is transformed into countertops and surfaces in homes and offices. First released in 2005, the updated video contains enhancements that reflect technological advancements made in the last 7 years. An expanded section on digital templating, information on the sustainability of natural stone and the function of sealers are all touched on in the updated video.
The natural stone video is available from the MIA’s online bookstore and is packaged with “Natural Stone – Beautiful, Durable, Sustainable,” MIA’s sustainability showroom video.
