Construction Begins on Two New Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. Program Homes

Groundbreaking ceremonies for two new homes being built through the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program were held recently. U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Brandon Dodson (Ret.) and U.S. Army Captain Nick Vogt (Ret.) will receive specially adapted smart homes through this program, with natural stone products and installation.

The Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. program provides specially adapted smart homes, home modifications, mobility devices, and adapted vehicles to severely wounded veterans and their families. MIA+BSI members provide natural stone materials, fabrication, and installation for R.I.S.E. homes across the country. This includes both interior stonework (countertops, facades, etc.) and exterior stonework (exterior cladding, etc.).
