Ambient Glow Technology, owned and operated by the Universal One Corporation, offers a variety of professional-grade aggregates for use in concrete countertops and other concrete applications that glow in the dark. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, the AGT aggregates absorb and store light and then release it in the dark. The patented photoluminescent pigments used in the aggregates are fully charged in 10 to 20 minutes and glow for 12 hours, according to the company.
The aggregates come in three colors: Sky Blue (pictured here), Aqua Blue and Emerald Yellow. They are available in multiple sizes, ranging from 1/8- to 3/4-in., as well as in fine sand and river stone versions.
